When the Covid-19 pandemic arrived in Sonoma Valley in the spring of 2020 and our school closures were announced, Art Escape, a Sonoma Plein Air Foundation grantee, immediately began considering ways to continue to deliver exciting art experiences to students. Their solution was to prepare & distribute ART KITS during two drive-thru pickup days at Art Escape and during school homework pickup days.    

Students in Flowery School's after school class received either a customized kit with supplies to complete their printmaking project or a kit with supplies to make a DIY treasure box.  Kindergarten- third grade students at El Verano received a kit with all the materials and illustrated instructions to make a suncatcher at home.
