As a volunteer you'll be part of one of the most fun and beautiful fundraisers in Sonoma Valley.
If you volunteer for a shift on the day of the Art Show & Sale, you'll meet nationally acclaimed artists, see their glorious plein air paintings and chat with art enthusiasts from the Bay Area and beyond.

The Sonoma Plein Air Festival is staffed completely by volunteers from the community, local arts organizations and schools.
The Foundation itself is comprised of an all-volunteer board of directors that works year-round planning festival week to raise funds for grants, and as liaisons to the schools and organizations that receive funds. About us:
Sonoma Plein Air Foundation is the primary nonprofit supporting K-12 art education for Sonoma Valley kids, through grants for art-related programs, supplies and equipment to public schools and local community organizations. Since 2002, the foundation has organized the annual Sonoma Plein Air Festival, a celebration of outdoor painting featuring nationally recognized artists, to raise the funds that make these grants possible.
