A CELEBRATION OF OUTDOOR PAINTING TO BENEFIT ART EDUCATION IN SONOMA VALLEY
Since 2002, the annual Sonoma Plein Air Festival has brought nationally-renowned artists together for a week of painting in Sonoma Wine Country and across the region to Marin, San Francisco and the stunning coast.

Festival week includes a beautiful Gala and Silent Art Auction Friday eve, and Saturday's Art Show and Sale on historic Sonoma Plaza. The Art Show displays the beautiful works of 29 juried-in artists, all painted during the Festival week. Scenes cover our region from San Francisco, Marin and Sonoma to the stunning coast, and are all for sale on Saturday in various sizes.
Ours is a completely non-profit festival whose single mission is funding local K-12 visual art education in Sonoma Valley public schools and community arts programs. Our annual festival is how we raise these funds distributed as grants throughout each school year. More Festival details below! |
