2026 Festival Artists


Meet the 29 nationally acclaimed Artists
coming to paint the region, then show and sell their week's work during the 2026 Sonoma Plein Air Festival

Each September, Jury-selected Artists arrive in Sonoma from around California and the U.S. to paint for one week on location outdoors ("en plein air") throughout Sonoma, Marin and San Francisco.

Festival Week will be held this year September 14-19. The final day showcases their stunning results at the Art Show & Sale on Sonoma Plaza from 10am - 4pm on Saturday, September 19th.

These are this year's participating artists.
From realistic to abstract in style, the city scenes, landscapes, seascapes, architecture and details of life in our region will be beautifully captured by these expert hands in oils, pastel, watercolor and ink. See the artists' websites and instagrams to enjoy their work and creative process.
